About the Role
As a Venture Associate in our Value Creation Team, you will play a crucial role in our mission to drive success for our external client projects and portfolio companies. This is a multi-faceted role, designed for high-potential candidates to make a direct impact from Day 1 and grow to become seasoned executives in life sciences. You will work closely with our Partners, Executives-in-Residence, and external stakeholders to ensure that our initiatives are executed seamlessly and deliver maximum impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies in the life sciences sector. Synthesize findings into actionable insights that support decision-making and strategy development.
Client Engagement: Lead and contribute to project teams working with senior client executives to solve complex business problems and deliver actionable solutions.
Project Management: Coordinate and manage various projects across the firm, ensuring that milestones are met and deliverables are of the highest quality. This includes working with our Executives-in-Residence and external partners to drive initiatives forward.
Insight Synthesis: Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and other documentation that effectively communicate project outcomes, strategic recommendations, and value propositions to internal and external stakeholders.
Business Development: Support the development of proposals and presentations for new business opportunities, including client pitches and thought leadership.

Competitive salary
What We Look For:
A strong academic background with a degree in life sciences, technology, engineering, business, or a related field, with a strong interest in the intersection of healthcare and innovation.
2-3 years of relevant experience in strategy, project management, or a similar role, preferably within the healthcare or life sciences sectors. Roles that demonstrate below skillsets are also welcome.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and research into strategic insights.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
A proactive, resourceful, and adaptable mindset
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
Intellectual curiosity – a genuine passion in the life sciences and desire for learning
Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin) is required
