About the Role
As a Venture Associate in Operations & Special Projects, you will play a critical role in designing and optimizing how we work and deliver value to our clients and portfolio. This is a multi-faceted role, designed for high-potential candidates to make a direct impact from Day 1 and grow to become seasoned executives in life sciences. You will work closely with our senior management and external stakeholders to ensure we achieve our operational goals, while playing an active role in supporting the firm’s strategic growth and direction.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management & Support: Manage the day-to-day operations of Bioworld Ventures, including managing internal processes, coordinating with partners. optimizing workflows.
Project Management: Coordinate and manage various projects across the firm, ensuring that milestones are met and deliverables are of the highest quality. This includes working with our Executives-in-Residence and external partners to drive initiatives forward.
Strategic Support: Work directly with the senior leadership team on special projects that drive the firm's growth and strategic direction. This may include market research, and strategic planning, marketing, growth.
Marketing Initiatives: Support the development and execution of marketing strategies to enhance Bioworld Ventures' brand presence and engage with the broader innovation ecosystem
Business Development: Support the development of proposals and presentations for new business opportunities, including client pitches and thought leadership.

What We Look For:
A strong academic background with a degree in life sciences, business, or a related field, with a strong interest in the intersection of healthcare and innovation
1-2 years of relevant experience in project management, business strategy & operations. Roles that demonstrate below skillsets are also welcome
Experience in working at a start-up / early-stage environment will be prioritized
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and research into strategic insights
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively
A proactive, resourceful, and adaptable mindset
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
Intellectual curiosity – a genuine passion in the life sciences and desire for learning
Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin) is required
